There is no 'full version' as far as I know. You're meant to write the project along with the tutorial and by the time you complete the 4 tutorials, you will have a full django project. This is how I got my feet wet with django, and afterwards I used all the thorough documentation as a reference for what else can be done in django. Doing so got me writing websites in just 2 weeks, I highly recommend it.
