2 problems. 1. python isn't picking up your PYTHONPATH. Try echo $PYTHONPATH at the command line. Are your sure it's set? 2. not $HOME/Development/django_src/django but $HOME/Development/django_src Python needs the directory *containing* the package, not the package directory itself.
