Thanks for reading up to there :-) This is getting off-topic for this mailing list, but there are 2 reasons: - main reason is that I don't need all features of Trac, only a basic ticket system stuff, and I must adapt it to our working methods (translation: weird management methods) - minor reason is that I wanted to start playing with Django on some active project usable in my team, to demonstrate that 1) python is as good as perl (75% of our tools written in perl...) and 2) a web framework could come in handy compared to our unmaintainable PHP intranet (25% of the activity).
Back to Django business: my question was focused on my models having foreign keys on each other, and how I could make it less complex by duplicating my code (having duplicate django apps)... I finally ended up staying on the complex side, as I learn more deeply the internals of Django.
