It would be great to have a streaming option, but aparentely this is trickier than it seems. I guess there's quite a few people with this kind on need hanging around this list... so maybe a solution can be implemented. I am not uploading anything near 200MB, but 8 MB with no progress feeback and no resume is pretty scary for me. Maybe at 200 MB you should try ftping it?
