I wasn't really complaining about not getting a reply, just stating a
fact :-)

Anyway, I did try downloading from

http://www.inoi.fi/open/trac/eunuchs

and it didn't compile for me. Were you using 10.4?

As I said, my problem is solved, but it would be nice to have clear
guidance for others.
