I'd recommend using something like this:

Date.prototype.getFullMonthName = function() {
return typeof CalendarNamespace === "undefined"
? this.getTwoDigitMonth()
: CalendarNamespace.monthsOfYear[this.getMonth()];
};

Date.prototype.strftime = function(format) {
var fields = {
...
B: this.getFullMonthName(),
...
};
