Oh dear, I think this is a symptom of a regression in Python 3.2.6 (vs.
3.2.5); see http://bugs.python.org/issue22758#msg230205. I thought 3.2.7
might have been released to correct that issue by now. Do you think we
should document the incompatibility at this point?
