The illustrated Base_site.html template will not with Django 1.7. The Site
Tile and Site Heading default filters should be text instead. Like this:
{% extends "admin/base.html" %}
{% block title %}{{ title }} | Iains Polls site admin) {% endblock %}
{% block branding %}
<h1 id="site-name"><a href="{% url 'admin:index' %}">Iains Polls site
administration</a></h1>
{% endblock %}
