hmm, I am confused then

in my infra request, I asked that diversity@apache.org be migrated to
disc...@diversity.apache.org, and that diversity@apache.org be set up as an
alias for that list. I was under the impression that that had been completed

moving a mailing list from the apex domain to a sub-domain is not a simple task, I'd expect this to take a while, especially considering summer vacations etc. It might also have been missed in the request, I'd suggest either pinging users@infra or raising a separate ticket about this one item only.

if there were a public mailing list under the @diversity.apache.org
umbrella to discuss non-development topics.

that's what discuss@ is for, no?

Your use of verb tense confuses me. There is no such list or alias at
the moment:

[apmail@hermes ~]$ cat .qmail-diversity-discuss
cat: .qmail-diversity-discuss: No such file or directory

[apmail@hermes ~]$ ls lists/diversity.apache.org/
dev private
