I agree with you here, I have e-mail and phone, my phone number does not get handed out to anyone, as we get enough scam calls, unsolited calls, etc etc as it isl. I have also made it clear on my website I don't use FB or twitter, I have LinkedIn, diaspora, email and gnu social. All of which you can contact me on.
