Hello, The current model that I know for building DPDK enabled OVS is to just git clone the OVS tree and build + install everything. This involves installing all kinds of tool chain packages required for machines.
Currently, major Linux distributions support package installation of OVS. I was hoping if there was a just a source package for corresponding DPDK modules. This will allow me to just build only the DPDK portion of the kernel module that can work with the installed packages and retain the full flexibility of OVS package installation. Am I missing anything in my thought process? thanks /Shivaram
