Hi,
We ran into some issues using the DPDK based OVS switch (2.3.90). We
used pktgen for traffic generation.
*1. Multiple flows -> degrading performance*
Everything looks nice, but when we generate multiple flows with
different MAC addresses the switch performance drops. On an Intel Atom
system the packet rate was dropping from 4 Mpps to 2 Mpps when
increasing the number of flows to 10.
*2. Set Queue -> severe performance degradation*
After setting a queue, irrespectively of the bandwidth limit set the
performance drops to ~1.5 Mpps on a Xeon machine (from ~10 Mpps - we use
only 1 core for the given port)
