Used the sed command and that worked a treat. Have OVS 2.3.90 running on CentOS 7.

I've been using the kernel version provided with CentOS7 with OVS userspace from http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/openstack/openstack-icehouse/epel-7/ I have an issue with mac learning that I haven't been able to resolve yet (thread just recently on ML) but otherwise it seems to be working fine.
