Hi, I was using OpenvSwitch v 1.11.0 on FreeBSD 10 64Bit without problems.
But OpenvSwitch 2.0.0 and above all versions have a problem about netdev. Altough interface is up, ovs-vswitchd logs that network is down. Problem is reproduceable, epair0a is Ethernet Pair. you can create it by "ifconfig epair0 create" this command creates epair0a and epair0b interfaces connected back to back. Log line: ovs|00020|netdev_bsd(miss_handler)|WARN|error sending Ethernet packet on epair0a: Network is down How can I debug this problem? Best regards
