Hi Guys Is there any criteria to setting the role of a controller via ovsdb-client?
I am setting the role of my controller to master, and the transaction is accepted and an immediate dump of the Controller table in OVSDB indicates the master role. But after about 5 seconds (seems to be the update cycle of the DB), the role is reverted to 'other'. Could it be because the controller did not request this? Or are there some criteria to setting the role of a controller persistently? I am running a custom OVS build of v2.0.90 (custom changes should not have affected this). Regards Dirk van der Merwe
