As it seen in their git-web 1.8 is just internal release.
Next release should be 1.9LTS and 1.10
They had to release 1.9 in February but something went wrong, so they
announced release of 1.10 as well.

So maybe someone of OVS crew can suggest release date for next LTS 1.9 or
1.10????
Except recompilation on fedora i hope my problem described in this thread
will be ended as well (regarding some kind of errors during service
stop/start)
