Hey All, I am trying to add some extra functionality into the OVS flow tables. Basically this calls for enhancements in the actions that can be performed and also in the matching criteria of the flows. What is the best way to proceed with that?. I took lead from the nicira extensions to ovs but they dont really explain what they are trying to do with those extension in the code(code explain HOW but not WHY of the whole extension). I did however, understand that vendor extension method is the way to go if extensions are required regarding the OpenFlow usage. Can anybody give some pointers in this directions.
