Hi Reid, sure , The behavior is unexpected. I tried a simpler topology and similar thing happens.
I tried the following topology . controller | | s1-----s2 | | h1 h2 I now added 1 bridge on s1--h1 link and 1 bridge on s2 --h2 link The bridges are listening to the controller The host where able to ping each other and I could see flow entry in the bridges created. Now when I add 2 bridges on s1-- s2 in both s1 and s2. The host are not able to ping the each other. Is it that the new bridges are not informing about there connections to the controller or is there some fault in the controller. I am not able to understand.!
