Hello everyone, New on this list, this is my first attempt to ask for suggestions. I am currently using OpenVSwitch on a Xen dom0, I'm using it for its vlan capabilities, nothing else. The machine only has one physical interface.
I am using ip rules and routes to make it all work. Now I would like to learn more about what I can do with OpenVSwitch. But I don't know where to start or what to expect. I hear a lot about OpenFlow and sFlow, but that's all new to me. The reading material I could find is either focusing on the very easy or on the very advanced subjects. Please, could you suggest reading/study material for a "switch novice" like myself? It doesn't have to be easy, but it just has to be verbose, because I only have a lot of experience with generic routing in Linux but not with OpenVSwitch.
