I have a set of scripts that allow me to move from ovs to bridging
easily (I'll post more on these later).

Attached are some results.

I ran:
netpipe-tcp 3.7.1-1 (from the Ubutnu 10.04 package)
KVM guest to KVM guest on two computers hooked together by a
cross-over with gigabit NICs.
I ran the tests a few times and the numbers look very similar.
One graph is ovs and one is a standard bridge.

I'll follow up with more details and also the INSTALL.KVM draft soon.
