We had a full roll out of XP desktops hosted on VMware ESX with my previous company. We ended up going with "Fabula Tech" who produce the products on www.usb-over-network.com. They were hungry and worked hard to code bug fixes for us. We ended up with a site license of USB over RDP which worked pretty well. Not sure if it will do exactly what you are after. We also tried Keyspan and Belkin for USB over IP hubs. This was universally disastrous. They either didnt work at all, or caused repeated blue screens....
