I was not happy with unison.  I forget why, but whatever it was ... was
significant enough that I barely gave it a passing glance.  Within 10
minutes, I decided it simply wasn't good enough, and that's all I remember,
from a year or two ago.

I researched and tested a million sync applications.  I was unhappy with
them all until I came across GoodSync.  If you feel like paying for it, it's
dirt cheap.  But I think they give you a 14-day or 30-day trial anyway.  It
sounds like you could solve your whole thing using just the trial.

Personally, I pay for it on all my computers, $15 per license.  (I think
it's $30 for one license, $40 for 2, and $45 for 3).
