in this space. It functions by capturing traffic flows at the interface
level (libpcap style) and storing aggregate information about those
flows to tell you which servers are talking to which other servers, and
what they're talking about. I have not done anything more than demo this
service, so I can't actually recommend it, but I'm interested in looking
into it for a similar reason as you so I thought I'd share.
