Before you panic, do "lsblk" to see if your system even sees them. It could be that a driver is not loaded.
I'm not sure what the credential service is, it could be related, but I don't think so. What was the filesystem used on the ssds? could it have been deprecated from fc41? Let's first run lsblk to see if the system even sees them. > > i just upgraded my three laptops from fc40 to fc41. none > of them now mounts my SSD harddrive. df now shows all these > /run/credentials files which i never saw before. what's > going on? how can i mount my usb SSD? > > Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on > /dev/sda3 465G 90G 372G 20% / > devtmpfs 4.0M 0 4.0M 0% /dev > tmpfs 4.8G 12K 4.8G 1% /dev/shm > efivarfs 128K 24K 100K 20% /sys/firmware/efi/efivars > tmpfs 2.0G 1.9M 2.0G 1% /run > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-network-generator.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-journald.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-udev-load-credentials.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-sysctl.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-tmpfiles-setup-dev-early.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-tmpfiles-setup-dev.service > /dev/sda3 465G 90G 372G 20% /home > tmpfs 4.8G 16K 4.8G 1% /tmp > /dev/sda2 974M 368M 540M 41% /boot > /dev/sda1 599M 20M 580M 4% /boot/efi > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-tmpfiles-setup.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-vconsole-setup.service > tmpfs 1.0M 0 1.0M 0% > /run/credentials/systemd-resolved.service > tmpfs 982M 164K 982M 1% /run/user/1000 > > tia, > ole dan > > j. daniel moylan > 84 harvard ave > brookline, ma 02446-6202 > 617-777-0207 (cel) > j...@moylan.us > www.moylan.us > [BLM] > _______________________________________________ > Discuss mailing list > Discuss@lists.blu.org > https://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss > _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list Discuss@lists.blu.org https://lists.blu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
