My guess is that the default Fedora firewall rules aren't allowing http/https 
in.

Run firewall-config (type "Firewall" from the Activities Overview screen) and 
add http (and probably https) to the list of services allowed on the security 
zone where your NIC is connected (FedoraWorkstation by default).  If 
firewall-config isn't installed, install it from the software center (Firewall 
Configuration).  Note that you should also make this change to the Permanent 
Configuration (pull down box at top of window) if you want to keep it after any 
reboots.
