My latest bill from Comcast says that they are going to start encrypting the "Limited Basic" channels on September 24th. More info at:

After that it looks, I will have to rent Comcast owned equipment (adapter, set top box, or Cable Card) for every TV/tuner in my house. Whether they call it equipment rental or additional outlet fees, Comcast will now get extra money for every TV/tuner even if I only use it to watch their re-transmission of over the air channels or (apparently) local public access channels.
