It depends on where you are coming from Ivan. In my case I am working on totally commercial high end data acquisition with a strictly controlled and regression tested code base. My preference would be to be able to reliably (as in not kill people. I am *NOT* joking... ask Greg) compile the same known code base and use it on any of the major environments, and then do a local regression test using the same test process in that environment.
I live in an entirely different world from most of you. I will also admit that I have not reached my goals yet... getting to FAA and FAA/AST certifiable flight software is a very, very long and hard road. -- +------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Dale Amon Immortal Data, Las Cruces Airport | | CEO 8990 Zia Blvd, Suite D,Las Cruces, NM, 88007 | | "Data Systems for Deep Space and Time" | | dale.a...@immortaldata.net 760-382-9545 | +------------------------------------------------------------------+ _______________________________________________ Discuss-gnustep mailing list Discuss-gnustep@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss-gnustep
