Debanka, I am not sure I understand your concern. The latest release of GNU Radio (currently v3.10.11.0: https://github.com/gnuradio/gnuradio/releases) uses Python 3 too, so I'd try to stay with the latest release. GNU Radio 3.8 is now several years old and I think it has been deprecated. Franco
