Dear Cindy, is there a specific reason you've built GNU Radio from source? Feels like an unnecessary complication of things, and is, at the present time, pretty unnecessary, since Ubuntu 18.04 ships a relatively recent GNU Radio with most components enabled. I advise against building from source unless you need a development version of GNU Radio, or need to link GNU Radio to a development version of a library.
