Hi all, in recent weeks we had an increased amount of spam edits originating from spam bots using GitHub accounts to bypass the captcha at account creation.
Unfortunately the GitHub OAuth extension we are using is not yet integrated to the new Medaiwiki AuthManager framework and hacking in a captcha won't be that easy. The short term fix is disabling GitHub OAuth until I (or someone else) updated the GitHub OAuth extension to play nice with the AuthManager framework. If you used GitHub OAuth to log in to the wiki and you are locked out now: Please contact me via Mail <m...@andrejro.de> or IRC/Slack `noc0lour` and I'll reset your password so you can login using password based auth. Until we figured out all already registered bot users I limited editing to `realuser` which is a manual approved group based on recent edits. If you would like to edit something in the next couple of days and you are not yet in the `realuser` group please contact me or any other wiki administrator [0].
