I guess no, but since it doesn’t have a standard compliant MAC layer that might 
be of limited benefit.

If you really want to look into integrating it in Linux, I would implement it 
as virtual WiFi device, similar to hwsim 
(https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/mac80211_hwsim 
<https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/mac80211_hwsim>). Then the 
higher layer stuff like hostap and wpa_supplicant would just work out of the 
box.
