They are dated, but still helps guide you a fair amount of the way. I tried doing this on my Windows laptop a few months ago, but I ran into issues. I can't remember what they were now. I posted questions about it here but didn't get any responses, so I knew that was a bad sign. I'd be very interested in learning how to get gnuradio working on a Windows computer, without a VM, as well.
