Also, if your "python" is actually linked to Python3, that
might be your problem. Make sure that the command "python"
actually points at python2.7

python -v reveals version 2.7 (or -V don't remember the correct
option....but i'm 101% sure it's 2.7)

I don't know. Lots of other people have installed using build-gnuradio
on Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit, so I don't know.
