I had installed all boost packages at /opt/boost_1_40_0/
here are  boost libraries compiled

and i invoked the configure using
$ ./configure --enable-usrp --enable-gr-usrp --with-boost=$BOOST_PREFIX
I made sure that Makefiles contains  /opt/boost_1_40_0/include and link to
/opt/boost_1_40_0/lib

still gives same errors.
Any Ideas ?
