The application for the 2012 Google Summer of Code has been submitted. A huge thanks to Philip Balister for helping to organize this event (he's flying back from Germany today, so an extra special thanks for helping out when he could have been having even more fun in Karlsruhe).
Also, many thanks to everyone who helped get ideas together for the website and for volunteering to mentor students this summer. For those who haven't seen it, take a look at the proposed projects here: http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/GSoC We should be hearing back from Google at the end of next week. If we're accepted as an organization, we'll start soliciting for student applications at that time, so if you're a student or know of a possible candidate, keep it in mind. (The timeline for the GSoC can be found here: http://www.google-melange.com/gsoc/events/google/gsoc2012) Thanks! Tom
