The GCC 4.3.4 (GCC4 cygwin packages) also works for me, at least with the current git/main branch of Gnuradio. GCC 3 is installed in parallel, but I don't use it any more. They don't conflict, because the gcc, g++ etc. aliases all point to GCC4.
