worked perfectly also on ubuntu 10.04. Obviously the requisites are the
ones for Lucid ;). I'd also like to add a suggestion. Install *checkinstall*
*sudo apt-get install checkinstall*
and at the end run
*sudo checkinstall*
instead of
*sudo make install*
a deb package will be created to uninstall it easily if desired ;)
