According to this:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/28/ps3-firmware-v3-21-update/installing the latest PS3 firmware update will remove your Linux partition and you won't be able to install it again. So if you're running GNU Radio on your PS3 it's probably best not to accept the latest update.
