Hi, We are evaluating SDR platforms for conducting wireless physical layer experiments. It would be great if some one could help with the following information.
1. I know that a modified version of 802.11 has been implemented and tested successfully on USRP1. Has it been tested on USRP2 ? Are the latencies in USRP2 significantly better than USRP1 to make 802.11 feasible? 2. Is standalone mode of USRP2 operation supported officially? Would USRP2 working stand-alone provide lesser latencies than a USRP2 connected to a host computer? Any pointers would be helpful. Thanks,
