Thanks I appreciate your reply. I think I have the same problem with 
alliasing but my biggest problem is the gain control. I haven't updated 
to the current firmware version yet. I hope it will solve the problem.

I may have spoken too soon about the aliasing as my results appear
inconsistent.  I took two simultaneous (not synchronized)
acquisitions with:

usrp2_rx_cfile.py -s -e eth1 -d 4 -f 2414e6 -g 80 -N 500e6 foo &
usrp2_rx_cfile.py -s -e eth2 -d 4 -f 2414e6 -g 80 -N 500e6 bar &

Each gigabit card was connected directly to a USRP2.  Each USRP2 was
running firmware built from rev 10037 and had an RFX2400 installed.
One of the acquisitions exhibits aliasing, but the other does not.

I will try to repeat this next week and see if I made a mistake
somewhere.
