For 3.0.4, these swig versions are known to work: 1.3.23, 1.3.24, 1.3.25, 1.3.27, 1.3.28, 1.3.29 Our experience is that swig 1.3.28 is in common use and for packagers I'd recommend requiring that version or newer. For the trunk to compile, we require swig 1.3.31 or newer.
