The [EMAIL PROTECTED] folks at MacPorts (nee DarwinPorts) have messed up the
installations of wxWidgets and wxPython (temporarily one would
presume) for the last month or so. Bug reports have already been
submitted to them so hopefully these issues will be resolved soon
(still "quickly" after a month?). In the mean time, I have a new
'dp_inst.csh' install script for the necessary background libraries
and such, that has been tested out on both PPC and Intel Macs,
