Looks like DP fixed the issue ... I'm compiling on a new 20" iMac,
and everything looks good. So I'm removing those version-specific
commands from the OSX install script (new one is already uploaded,
and requires -NO- changes to what DP does, yay!).

sudo port uninstall fftw-3-single
sudo port uninstall fftw-3
sudo port install fftw-3-single
