Ok, I have some more results from tests I just made: - On the same machine (macbook) I installed an Ubuntu as dualboot system. There, the USRP works just fine, i.e., I can run the different tests and benchmark scripts without any problems. - Next, I reboot into mac os x, without unplugging or powering off the USRP. The system profiler shows me that I connected a "USRP Rev 4" which is different from the normal Vendor Specific string - Then, I can run one script once successful (I used the test_usrp_standard_tx), after that, the system profiler shows again the "Vendor Specific" string and any successive attempts to run the script fail.
- Next, I installed GNU Radio on my iMac (also intel). There, I can use the USRP again without any problems. The difference between the two systems, as much as I can tell, are the different build systems, i.e., macbook has XCode 2.3, and the iMac 2.2.1 Quick question for those who have problems with the USRP under Mac OS X and those who don't: which versions of XCode are you using? And what are your system specifications (i.e. Macbook, iMac, Macbook pro, etc)?
