[Discuss-gnuradio] look at oscope without usrp

Is it possible to look at a signal on the oscilloscope without with USRP 
connected?
I am assuming no because usrp_oscope.py is contained in the USRP module. 


If this is the case how do we look at signals that have been 
created/coded to make sure they are working properly before transmitting 
them?
