Hello, I experimented with many distributions and eventually settled on Fedora Core 4 (just before 5 was released). Fedora installed well on the machines I was using and there are installation scripts at http://www.kd7lmo.net/ground_gnuradio_install.html to guide the GNU Radio installation.
