This work is under way. We still need to fix libpython linking under MinGW before 2.6. This shouldn't be a big issue, Martin may have it already working.
I do have the complete build working under windows (I am already using it) What libpython linking problem do you have? (Maybe you told me before, but I don't remember in which mail)
