   I've been using lilo for years and that seems to be the Slackware default.
It's worked well for me since I reboot infrequently and, when I do, use the
same image.

   Since I need to install Slackware-13.0 on the new drive, and it was
installed on the existing main drive only a couple of days ago, I'll just
'cp -R ...' from the existing drives to the new one. That will allow me to
copy over entire partitions onto the new root partition and give me an exact
mirror of what's currently on the system. Then I'll remove the two existing
disks, install the new one, reboot, and expect everything to be working
well.
