I have written a devmem based driver for DirectFB 1.2.x and built it. All
example apps work fine etc.
I then take a rootfilesystem that has gtk 2.12.9 and all dependencies built.
And run, it does not crash -

But I get nothing on screen. This is obviously more likely my fault but I
was wondering if gtk-demo had been seen running on DFB1.2.x?
It all works fine with DFB 1.0.x (based on fbdev system)
