Hi All,

I'm developing DirectFB application on ARM9 environment without H/W acceleration.

At the architectural point of view, it seems obvious that performance of DirectFB should be superior to one of TinyX. However there are some articles that DirectFB is actually slower than TinyX.

Does anybody have experiences on comparing the two? In my opinion, the root cause of performance gap must be communication cost of TinyX in client/server architecture. What do you think? (My question assumes that there is no H/W acceleration.)
